'Cut the Carbon' March

From the middle of July to start of October, I took unpaid leave to walk around the country. Christian Aid organised a ‘Cut the carbon’ march on climate change, and took part as the World Development Movement activist doing it. In total there were 20 of us walking the whole way.

We started in Northern Ireland on 14 July, and passed through Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Bradford, Manchester, Derby, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, and Bournemouth, before finishing in London on 2 October.

The estimate is that we will have walked 1,000 miles in 80 days.
