Accessibility at Bloomsbury
For those with mobility
difficulties
A ramp from the pavement to the front
door makes access easy.
A lift serves all floors in the building and is accessible
by wheelchair users.
Designated bays are available in the sanctuary for wheelchair
users.
Wheelchair accessible toilets are located on 4th, ground and
lower ground floors.
Regretably there is no on street parking
locally for blue badge holders.
For those with hearing
disabilities
A portable induction loop is available at reception if needed.
The sanctuary is wired with an induction loop system on the
ground floor. Most personal hearing aids can be switched to
this system.
Portable induction loop devices are available for use in other
meeting spaces on request.
The alarm system within the building is fitted with beacons
to alert users if the need to evacuate the building arises.
For those with visual
impairment
Large print copies of service and notice
sheets are available on Sundays.
Other printed material can be enlarged on request.
A braille copy of the Baptist Hymn Book is available on request.
All Sunday services are recorded on to cassette tape and copies
can be provided on request.
For parents with babies
and toddlers
Baby changing facilities are available in the foyer
toilet and in the creche on the lower ground floor.
Supervised creche facilities are offered during worship on
Sunday mornings.
